No. There are no contracts to sign. You may use my services on an "as needed" basis for as long as you would like. I believe that a satisfied client will stay with their designer without a contract.

A:
The client (you) must add all content (products, descriptions, photos) that you want in your website. I know web design. I can make your website look and function exactly how you would like it to. However, I don't know your business.
I will set up an admin panel for you and provide directions and tutorials.
If you would like help with this, or if you want someone to do this for you, I will refer you to a Product Specialist, who offers this service for an extra fee. She offers several affordable startup packages, as well as in-depth coaching if needed. She can put together a package price for whatever you need.

It depends on the option you choose (ready-made, design your own, logo-match, or custom).
The longest time involved is in setting up the domain names and hosting, if all of that is inplace I have built a store in just a few hours. My average time is 3 days, but most are completed in less than a week. Occasionally a custom design will take longer.

A:
My price includes the design with full setup, store program installation, shopping cart, shopping cart installation, paypal integration (so your customers payments go directly into your paypal account), your admin panel, directions and tutorials. This is a ONE-TIME fee.
However you will also need a domain name and a hosting account, which together total $100 per year. I work wth specific providers only, and "as a courtesy" for you, I will be happy to set these accounts up for you or tell you how to do it yourself.

No problem.
If you just have a domain name, we will have to setup the DNS to work with our hosting provider. I can do this for you for a small fee ($10), or I will provide directions for you, so that you can do it yourself.
If you have an existing website already, you can let me know this when you order, and you will have the choice of either
A temp web:
...letting your current site remain active while we build your new store and you learn to manage it. This way you will not have any time that your current website is inactive. When your new store is stocked and completed, I will replace your old website with your new website on your domain name (DNS change).
or....
Starting over:
...We can just do your dns change right now. If we do that, you will lose your current website and we will start fresh. If your current website is not functioning or stocked etc, this is the choice to make. (faster, cheaper) However if you have an active functioning website now, you will want to start with a temp web.

Any graphics that I make for you are yours to take with you wherever you go.

I setup your initial email account, and you can setup 50 more... if you want them.

I dont recommend it. However if you "must" have it, you can add the audio files yourself, or hire someone to do it.

Yes.
Included in the initial setup fee, I will set up an administrator suite of pages ("the feature cart") which allows you to make real-time changes to all of the pages in your website. This is where you will add and remove any of the pages you want.
The only thing you cannot change (without my help), is the actual layout/design/html format, which is called the html template.
For technical reasons, this area is only accessible by me, but if you want changes to that area just order a housecall. I will do everything I can to make sure you have exactly wht you want.

No.
Banners and pop-ups are the way that free web hosts make money. There will be no advertisements on your website unless you put them there and you make the money!

All you need is a regular paypal account.
You will add your paypal email address in the payment setup portion of your store. When a purchase is made, your customer will be automatically directed to a paypal page to submit payment directly into your account. The store is built to work seemlessly with paypal.

No problem. You can use any credit card processor or payment gateway. There are a few that are built into the store. Others can be entered manually.

People often believe that all they have to do is get a website, and they will get rich. The truth is that there are well over 20 billion websites on the web. So how does your website get noticed? It's not easy.
There are many technical aspects of the design of your website that make it easier for search engines to index you. This is one of things that is included in a professionally developed website.
There are special areas in your admin panel, where you can input metatags. While these things will not automatically put you at the top of the list on the search engines, they will help ensure that your website is indexed correctly.
No matter what business you're in, there are always competitors that are willing to spend more time or money to get their website ranked higher in a search. But don't lose heart. Fill in the store metatags, link with others, and we're sure that you'll be pleased with the results.
